Texas born and turban-attired Sonny Rhodes fronts a drivin' 5 piece blues band that delivers a smokin' mix of contemporary blues. A seasoned journeyman, Rhodes paid his dues as a sideman for Albert Collins & Albert King in the early 60's. His gravel voice is a perfect compliment to his guitar and lap steel guitar style of playing. Rhodes has also been honored by the Smithsonian for his contribution to the arts.
