Based in San Francisco for the last 15 years, this band was originally a side project for the late great musical pioneer Jerry Garcia. The seven piece outfit comprsing JGB today brings together a vast array of musicians combining blues, rock, jazz, folk, gospel and bluegrass ingluences. Continuing the vision of Jerry Garcia, the JGB Band sets forth a musical standard rich in melodic and rhythmic improvisation.
