The perennial Latin jazz Grammy winner's eight-piece band includes solid straight ahead jazzmen Brian Lynch (tp), Donald Harrrison (sax), and Conrad Herwig (tb), underpinned by a blazing Latin rhythm section of John Benitez (b), Richie Flores (congas), Jose Claussell (timbales) and Anthony Carrillo (bongos). Mr. Palmieri is currently celebrating the release of his new CD, Vortex, on Tropijazz.
