The psychedelic funk band Big Ass Truck was formed in the mid-'90s in Memphis around core members Steve Selvidge (guitar) and Robert Barnett (drums). Critics compared the band to hometown heroes Booker T. & the MG's, and Big Ass Truck gained a following in the South by touring with 311. Signed by the Rounder label's Upstart subsidiary, the group delivered their eponymous debut album in 1995. Sophomore album Kent was released one year later. Third album Who Let You in Here appeared in 1998 and Who Let You In Here was released in September 2000. John Bush
