Born in Louisiana and raised in Texas, Atlantic recording artist Sherman Robertson cites Freddie King, Albert King, B.B. King, and country singer Hak Williams as musical influences. After stints with various Zydeco bands and recording with Paul Simon on the hugely successful "Graceland" album, the 90's saw Robertson draw closer to his Texas blue roots and, following several highly successful tours of Europe, has established himself as one of the brightest new performers on the blues horizon. Sherman also has two releases on Atlantic's Code Blue record label.
