Swearing at Motorists
Alternative

Dayton, OH-based lo-fi pop duo Swearing at Motorists teamed singer/guitarist Dave Doughman and drummer Don Thrasher, the latter a member of local heroes Guided by Voices at their Bee Thousand-era peak. Debuting in 1995 with a self-released, self-titled cassette, Swearing at Motorists returned the following year with an EP, Tuesday's Pretzel Night; the full-length Fear of Low Flying Clouds appeared in 1997, with the band's debut effort for the Secretly Canadian label, More Songs from the Mellow Struggle and Number Seven Uptown both following two years later.
