Having made his debut in the Chicano rap scene with his first album Crazy Life, Lil Rob had no use for radio airplay or video promotion, but word of mouth still resulted in recognition throughout the West Coast. Combining street smart lyrics with Latin overtones, Lil Rock's second album Natural High came out in 1999. The remix collection High Till I Die followed in 2000. Mike DaRonco
