Connecticut-based vocalist Mower has shared the stage with Nat Adderly, Clark Terry and Richie Cole and has three impressive CDs to her credit. But the Boston area has scarcely heard her--until now. Tipped off to her talents by a visiting patron who was attending a Charles Ballroom concert this year, Bill Winiker invited her to sit in at one of their gigs, and he, along with brother Bo, was blown away. A quick listen to her latest CD, A Song for You, on Jazz City, is all it takes to know that Ms. Mower is one to watch.
