The Norwegian pop outfit of Beezewax has been under the influences of Sugar, Hsker D, and Buffalo Tom since their 1995 beginnings. Consisting of Jan Erik Hoel (bass), Anders Isaksen (guitar/vocals/synth), Stian Olsen (drums/xylophone), and Kenneth Ishak (vocals/guitar), this Oslo-based four-piece released their first album, A Dozen Summers, through LaNuGo Records in 1997.
