The Slip-On Unit is a blues fusion band based in Western Massachusetts. They play everything from straight blues to fusion to funk to soul to jazz-funk to Latin! They compare themselves to The Allman Brothers, Herbie Hancock's Headhunters, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
The Slip-On Unit plays mostly original songs with a few covers: a really tasty funk cover of Monk's "Well You Neddn't" and a ripping version of "Done Somebody Wrong" by Elmore James for example.
