Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Ms. Budiarjdo was the winner of the prestigious William Kapell International Piano Competition in 1996. She is also the recipient of the second prize at the Stravinsky Awards International Piano Competition, and the Charlote F. Rabb Presidential Scholar Award at the New England Conservatory. Ms. Budiarjo made her New York debut at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall last season.
