Considered one of America's most innovative jazz composer/pianists, Berklee prof Brackeen has performed with (and won the praises of) Art Blakey, Joe Henderson and Stan Getz. Oscar Peterson and Ornette Coleman have named her as their favorite composer.
Gomez is one of the most respected bassists in jazz. His playing has been called "incredibly melodic" by USA today. The two have performed and recorded together in both duo and trio formats.
