Gang Green are a Boston-based punk group obsessed with beer, skateboarding, and beer, particularly Budweiser. As can probably be inferred from their subject matter, the group's other selling point is a snotty, irreverent attitude about basically everything. The band is led by singer/guitarist Chris Doherty, whose bandmates have changed several times over the years. He formed Gang Green in 1982, but its reformation in 1985 was the one that signed the record deal. After several albums, they were dropped by Roadrunner in 1990. Steve Huey
