Mustard Plug is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based third-wave ska revival band featuring Dave Kirchgessner (vocals), Conlin Clive (guitar), Craig DeYoung (bass), Nick Varano (drums), Brandon Jenison (trumpet) and Kevin Dixon (tenor sax). The group developed a strong midwest following through constant touring, which made their debut album, Big Daddy Multitude, into a hit. Early in 1997, after third-wave ska had broken into the mainstream, the group released Evildoers Beware; shortly afterward, the band quit their day jobs.
