There is an irresistible charm to writer-director Don Campbell's "nonfiction feature" about eight elderly Jewish women in Los Angeles sharing thoughts and stories over a card game called Pan. Campbell's camera circles the table, catching lively conversation and intercutting glimpses of how each "girl" makes her golden years sparkle. We should all be so witty, wise, and apreciative of our lives.
