Led by drummer/composer Guillermo Nojechowicz, El Eco combines the sweet swaying tempos of Brazil with the darker rhythms of Argentina and Uruguay. Of the band's Boston Globe Jazz Festival kickoff last June,The Boston Globe wrote "heat was everywhere . . . the Boston based group burned a path for subsequent acts to follow."
