Grammy Award winner and composer of "Gentle On My Mind," John Hartford has been a regular on The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, David Letterman, Hee Haw and the Grand Ole Opry.
Hartford has taught himself to play, sing, and dance all at the same time and performs his music this way. On a piece of amplified plywood John does a one-man banjo, fiddle, guitar, and soft show dance. The performance contains mostly original music, but laced with old time material. He loves for his audience to dance and, space permitting, will call a figure or two at the end to the set. John's show is spontaneous and will be different every time you see him.
