One of the most passionate performers you can ever expect to see, his songs include some of the funniest and most powerful writing around. Solo folk guitarist/singer recording artist.

With his latest CD on the Eastern Front label, this native Virginian "will remain fast in your memory." Greenway's skills in the songwriter arena, his energetic and engaging stage presence, fluency with guitar and powerhouse vocal technique ranging from downright gospel to blues to folksy-funny keeps an audience fully engaged lest we forget the almost lost art of real audience participation, all part and parcel of a Greg Greenway show.

A fall '94 Carnegie Hall appearance as part of New York City's first Singer/Songwriter Festival and inclusion on the resulting CD Shelter was a corner-turning step in Greenway's continuing musical journey. Proceeds from the concert and CD benefit the homeless. Greenway's wide-ranging song craft is no stranger to the overtly political. His first recording, A Road Worth Walking Down was nominated for two Boston Music awards including Best Song on an Independent Label for "Free at Last," the uplifting, politically astute opening song inspired by Nelson Mandela. The 1995 Black Wolf release This is Boston Not Austin includes yet another hard-hitting song of our times from Greenway. His brand new solo recording Singing For the Landlord has been long awaited by many steadfast fans and includes some breathtaking harmony assists from long-time friend an supporter Jonatha Brooke of The Story.
