Synopsis: Two runaway sisters who have escaped from separate foster homes find themselves living from hand-to-mouth. Unexpected troubles lead them to kidnap a shop clerk, Elaine. When Elaine finds out that 16-year-old Lo, is in the advanced stages of pregnancy, she begins to dispense all kinds of maternal advice. Gradually, Lo and her 11-year-old sister Manny find themselves listening to their hostage and even taking note of her supposedly expert advice.
