Synopsis: This film is a dazzling anagram of film noir and science fiction in which tough gumshoe Lemmy Caution is an inter-galactic agent sent to conquer Alpha 60, a strange city where love and tenderness have been banished. Godard pursues his theme of alienation in a technological society by turning contemporary Paris into an icy, dehumanized city of the future.
