Eric Andersen holds a unique place among the survivors of America's first generation of singer-songwriters who came of age in the early '60's. A veteran of the early Greenwich Village, San Francisco and Cambridge folk scenes, his coffeehouse debut received rave reviews, notably from The New York Times' Robert Shelton, who called him, "a writer and performer of the first rant...[with] that magical element called star quality."
