Synopsis: Cyclo is a modern day tale reminiscent of the Italian classic The Bicycle Thief set in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The story of a young man who works as a bicycle taxi rider to support his grandfather and two sisters. When someone steals his vehicle which was rented from his boss, he is forced to commit acts of sabotage and is very quickly caught up in the spiral of crime. Like The Scent of the Green Papaya, Cyclo features gorgeous cinematography, paying acute attention to the details and rhythms of everyday life.
