Toots Hibbert's legendary career spans every development of Jamican music, from ska to rock-steady to contemporatry reggae. The band's soulful gospel-rooted reggae, due primarily to Toots' early involvement in church choirs, has propelled them to the top of the reggae charts for nearly three decades. Without question, Toots is one of the all-time greats in reggae music, and one of a few remaining living legends in that genre. Still in top form, Toots & the Maytals will perform some of the most authentic & energetic reggae and R&B music that can be heard today.
