Yvonne Andersen is the Director and Founder of the Yellow Ball Workshop in Lexington, MA, where the first film animation production courses for children were begun in 1963. Yellow Ball's films have won over 100 awards at International Film festivals. In addition, Andersen has directed over nine of her own films. Her most recent film, We Will Live Forever, won the award for Best Animated Film in the 1995 New England Film and Video Festival.

She has written three books and taught animation to children and adults at workshops in the United States and abroad. She was head of the Film/Video department at the Rhode Island School of Design for nine years, where she teaches Animation and Special Effects.

I Saw Their Angry Faces
(12 min) A collection of short animated films made by five young women, directed by Yvonne Andersen, based on poems by Dominic Falcone and narrated by him.

We Will Live Forever
(5 min) Designed and animated by Yvonne Andersen, with poem and sound track by Dominic Falcone.
