Synopsis: In Baba Luba, Israeli rock singer Dani Bassan returns to his native Brazil in search of his father who abandoned the family when Bassan was 5 years old. Combing through old letters of his grandmother ("Baba") Luba, Rio de Janeiro police files, and his own dim memories of childhood in Brazil, Bassan seeks a father, a family, and a final sense of belonging.
