Synopsis: In the manner of John LaCarre, this is the story of Ariel Brenner (Yvan Attal), a French Jew who works for Israeli intelligence, and who soon comes to face a set of divided loyalties between his personal and professional life, and betwen France and Israel, and within his own family. Taut as any film you're likely to see this season. The Patriots features a wonderful cast. Accompanying Yvan Attal are Sandrine Kiberlain (one of the hottest French actresses) as the woman Ariel can't forget. Israel actor Yossi Banai as Ariel's boss, and the late actress-director Christine Pascal as Ariel's sister.
