Synopsis: Marion Hansel's opus to the Far East features Stephen Rea (The Crytng Game) in an outstanding performance as Nikos, a radio operator on a freighter that's gone out of business and is forced to drop anchor in Hong Kong. Living in a state of hopelessness and desperation, Nikos meets Li, a little Chinese girl living near Hong Kong Bay. A friendship develops between the lost man and the bright little girl who won't accept defeat despite the chaos around her. Will she bring him back to life? The film features some outstanding cinematography of Hong Kong and environs.
