Synopsis: Sixteen year old Jesse Threebears is taken away from his foster home and returned to the reservation where he was born, to live with his grandfather. Jesse gradually adjusts to his new home, but another boy who knows the awful secret about the death of Jesse's mother, threatens to destroy his happiness. For the two boys, an annual horse race culminates in a life and death struggle that could finish them both.BR>
