Synopsis: Paged from dinner at the Plaze, ad-executive Roger Thornhill (Grant) is mistaken by enemy espionage agents for a CIA operative and finds himself embroiled with a mystery woman (Saint), running for his life across America in an increasingly harrowing series of events. The film features two of Hitchock's most famous sequences: the attempted assassination of Thornhill by a crop-duster in an open field and the dimatic struggle atop Mount Rusmore.
