Rising superstar Denyce Graves is almost too good to be true, with a voice that seems to get richer and more lustrous as the years go by, exquisite beauty, and a regal stage presence. In addition to this year's recitals, she will open the Metropolitan Opera's 1997/98 season singing Carmen with Placido Domingo, and will return to sing Dalila in a new production of Samson et Dalila/ A Celebrity Series recital debut.
