A veteran of the New York jazz scene in the 50s, reedman Hochman returned to music in Boston in 1989 after raising a family. Bob Blumenthal noted in The Boston Globe that "he is a true original. We can count ourselves fortunate that, after a lengthly hiatus, Leonard Hochman has chosen to go on singing." His latest CD is Manhattan Morning on GM.
