The Dancing Dogs, out of New Bedford, Massachusetts, are a five piece eclectic band that "howl" the combined elements of Original Funk, Rock, Ska, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean and Worldbeat.
The Dancing Dogs have made a name for themselves throughout the New England area, having played many of the popular clubs and festivals. Their own special brand of music has set a new standard and redefined the meaning of
alternative music. The Dancing Dogs are a group of dedicated and talented young musicians with a flare for taking an audience inside their music. Their influences are quite broad, from Frank Zappa to Sly Stone to War to Jean Luc Ponte. These artists now bear The Dancing Dogs seal. Their shows are fun,energetic, and audiences never know what to expect. The Dancing Dogs are wild, powerful, smooth, melodic, dynamic, rhythmic and diverse. There is something for everyone.
