Synopsis
Aleksandra Vujcic debuts as the beautiful daughter of a New Zealand mother and Croatian father. After her family flees the Balkan wars to resettle in Auckland, Vujcic takes a job as a waitress and falls in love with the Maori cook. This forbidden romance incenses her drug dealing father, and leads to confrontations between race and culture.
