Synopsis
Playing a swaggering, "reptilian" psychopath, Mitchum terrorizes the family of the lawyer who sent him to prison. Lawyer and family man Peck sets an animal trap down by the river. Hermann's score rivals anything he did for Hitchcocl, and Scorese used it agian when he remade Cape Fear in 1991 with Robert De Niro in Mitchum's Role.
