Synopsis
In the dark, frozen wasteland of deep space drifts the Nostromo, a nearly derelict refining ship populated by a skeleton crew heading homeward. They are wakened from their special hibernation chambers by an incoming
distress signal that prompts them to investigate a desiccated wind-pummeled planet where they find the remains of a large alien ship. They check it out, but a terrifying encounter forces them back to their own craft where a nightmare odyssey begins when they find themselves dealing with an unseen terror that begins capturing and devouring the
crew members one by one. Leading the battle against the creature is Ripley, an iron-willed, ingenious woman who refuses to back down against her fearsome, unknown foe.
