Synopsis
"Terrorism is an invention of capitalism to better protect its capital," Fasbinder declaired. The Third Generation prompted Vincent Canby to call him "the most dazzling, talented, provocative, original, puzzling, prolific and exhilarating filmmaker of his generation." The third generation of terrorists differs from its forebearers in its lack of any coherent political ideas of beliefs. Eddie Constantine (the quintissential gangster) plays the role of the manipulative businessman.
