The recipient of numerous awards in China and San Francisco in national regional voice competitions and as best performer, Zhang has performed at the San Fransisco Opera Center, in numerious roles at the Beiking Opera Center, has toured throughout Malaysia and the United States, and performed in the joint San Fransisco Opera Pacific Voices program. He represented China in the Cardiff International Semi-Finalist Competition broadcast on the BBS in London and performed the lead role in tue opera "Xiaoye Xiaoding" in Beiking, an event to welcome the emperor of Japan to China. He now resides in West Newton.
Lee has appeared in concerto, chamber music and solo concerts throughout the United States and her native Korea and has collaborated with such eminent composers as John Cage, Arthur Berger and Lukas Foss. Currently teaching piano at Phillips Exeter Academy, she has been a member of the secondary piano faculties at both the New England Conservatory of Music and Boston University.
