The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir was first founded as an amateur ensemble called The Ellerhein Choir in 1966 by Heino Kaljuste. Since then the Choir has gone on to tour every major international music venue including: the United Nations, The Third World Symposium on Choir Music in Vancouver, and The 1991 Takarazuka Chamber Choir Competition in Japan (where they took home three Gold Medals and the Grand Prix.) The Choir has also worked with some of the greatest conductors of our time including; Andres Ohrwall (Sweden), Sir David Willcocks (England), and Helmuth Rilling (Germany).
