Synopsis
Heiress Jennifer Jason Leigh defies her family by pursuing poor, beautiful Ben Chaplin in this adaptation of Henry James' novel. Years of callous remarks from her stern father lead the wallflower to be smitten by a charming, complimentary young man. Still, suspicion abounds that her suitor may be more interested in her wealth than her heart.
