Dave Falcone arrived on the Philadelphia music scene a few years ago as an acoustic guitarist
of the Leo Kottke, John Renbourn, Pierre Bensusan type. Since then, he has added numerous
vocals, both originals and folk based covers, to his performances. He is a regular find on the
Philadelphia coffeehouse and bookstore performance schedule.
"Secrets of Sherwood", Falcone`s first release has sold well, is getting great reviews from listeners, and
is getting regional radio play.
His guitar playing has been described as "a heady stew of fingerpicking pyrotechnics" and his vocals
as "hauntingly beautiful."
