A contemporary comedy about a stressed-out executive who is scheduled to make a major presentation at work, but first has to drop off a carload of kids at school. Everything that could go wrong does, when they stop off for doughnuts at a convenience store, which is being held up by a good-hearted but destitute man. In an attempt to escape the police, the robber takes the carpool hostage, resulting in a frantic day-long adventure.
