Comet Hale-Bopp "Star-Parties"
Come observe the famous Comet Hale-Bopp from the Gilliland Observatory and the Museum garage roof. Special filters will enhance the view of the Comet through the Gilliland Observatory telescopes. Planetarium staff will be on hand to interpret the vews through a variety of other telescopes and binoculars available to our visitors.
Thursday, March 27 - Saturday, March 29 from 7-9pm, and Thursday April 3 - Saturday, April 5 from 7-9pm. Viewing sessions are subject to weather, so call 617-589-0267 to verify viewing times.
