Synopsis:
In part one of this three part series, directer Allan Francovich combines European news reels taken during the years directly following W.W.II, with interviews with CIA operatives including CIA Labor Attache' Paul Sakwa, who in 1947 was responsible for dispersing the funds which were used to break the strikes that French labor unions had organized to actively oppose the implementation of the Marshall Plan in Western Europe.
