Synopsis
The avenging 19th-century ghoul returns in this sequel to the 1992 sleeper Candyman. The character, based on a Clive Barker tale, was once the artist Daniel Robitaille in the post-war South. After being caught compromising the virtue of a plantation owner's daughter, whose portrait he was commissioned to paint, Robitaille had his hand sawn off and was then smothered in honey and left to be stung to death by angry bees. In this episode he goes to New Orleans for Mardi Gras where he begins bedeviling the wealthy Tennant family. The father, who has figured out how to get rid of the Candyman, is soon killed, leaving his son Ethan to take the fall. Now Ethan's sister Annie must find out how to stop Candyman before he strikes again. Her research leads her into the darkest underpinnings of Candy's grim life.
