Synopsis
"Anthony Balch's Towers Open Fire is a direct film equivalent to William Burroughs' writing. It has the same apparent formlessness and the same scabrous humor. The two keys to the film are the cut up verse and the dream machine pioneered by Brian Gysin and Burroughs.
