Synopsis
This fascinating documentry highlights the centerpiece of Tibetan culture - its miraculous medicinal practices. Dr. Tenzin Choedrak, personal physician to H.H. Tenzin Gyatso (14th Dalai Lama), leads a presentation of Tibetan medical practices based on the original book of medicine, the Gyuschi or The Knowledge of Healing. This is the first full-length film which extensivlely explores tibetan medicine and healing practices, providing the viewer with imper access to the application and sirituaality of this importan health care system. Testimony from patients who have experienced some astonishing healing successes is recordded, including moving footage of the Dalia Lama himself who cites the essentiality of harmony between Eastern and Western cultures.
