Length:99 min
Country:USA
Credits:Directed by Tom Joslin and Peter Friedman.

Synopsis: A highly personal film which traces the journey towards death of filmmaker Tom Joslin and his companion of twenty-two years, Mark Massi, both of whom are stricken by AIDS. Largely videotaped by Joslin and Massi themselves and completed by their friend, director Peter Friedman, the film captures the everyday realities of living with AIDS, and emerges as a heightened mix of optimism and despair, as two remarkable people share moments of simple joy and profound sorrow. Although shattering at times, SILVERLAKE LIFE is a healing film, as much a paean to life, as it is a chronicle of death.
