Waco - The Rules of Engagement
Genre:Documentary
Rating:?
Cast:Directed by William Gazecki

Synopsis

The first full-length work to present the complete picture of the tragic series of events outside of Waco, Texas that resulted in the killing of four federal agents and the gassing and fiery deaths of 76 men, women and children of the Branch Davidian religious sect. The film presents a number of startling revelations about the disturbing incident using a powerful collection of images and sounds from original sources. Included are home video footage made by the Davidians inside Mount Carmel during the siege and preexisting home videos providing a fascinating glimpse into the early days of the sect, footage of the FBI's constant surveillance from an aircraft circling overhead, and an extremely candid home video made by an FBI agent at a sniper position overlooking the Mount Carmel buildings while relaxed agents reveal their true feelings and intentions. Compelling interviews with technical experts, distinguished academic scholars, and participants themselves all contribute to making this explosive new documentary an important expose on this notorious federal enforcement action and how basic civil and human rights were terribly abused.
