Synopsis
The revered French Director Jean-Luc Godard's most recent endeavor is a mediation on movies, history, the war in Bosnia and the impermanence of mediation on movies, history, the war in Bosnia and the impermanence of art. This film is told in four parts, each a separate short film with the Director as a common character. In an attempt to complete a movie in Sarajevo, the Director finds himself facing various obstacles which, ultimately, form the complex structure of For Ever Mozart as a whole. As usual for Godard...the best way to understand his work is to experience it!
"...For Ever Mozart tackles ideas with intellectual rigor while retaining a suggestive and poetic air. But the highlight - thanks in part to exquisite cinematography by Christophe Pollock - is Godard's mastery of beautiful images." - Craig Vickers, Boxoffice.
