Synopsis Assayas' feature debut drew raves and won the international critics' prize at the Venice Film Festival. From the startling opening sequence, in which two members of a rock group kill the owner of a music shop while stealing insturments for their band. Desorde explores the emotional chaos of a generation, concentrating on a trio of friends, two men and a woman involved with both, who pursue their dreams with a violent sense of disengagement, driting apart form each other as they betray their way through the club scenes of Paris and London.
